APITHOR Small Hive Beetle Harbourage Trap - Single Use

Stop small hive beetle before it takes hold, without putting your bees, your honey or yourself at risk.

APITHOR is a simple, proven way to protect your hives from the damage small hive beetle can cause. The beetles naturally seek out dark hiding spots. APITHOR gives them one on your bottom board, then controls them once they're inside. Bees can't get in and the honey stays clean.

How it works

• Sits on the bottom board: the rigid plastic harbourage sits where beetles hide, so they head straight in.
• Beetles in, bees out: the openings are sized to let beetles in and keep bees out.
• No bee contact: the insecticide-treated cardboard insert is set back from the openings, so bees can't touch it.
• Three months of protection: one harbourage works in the hive for up to three months.
• Stays put: works with silicone adhesives if you want to fix it in place.

Disposal

APITHOR is single use. When it's finished, wrap the used harbourage in paper, seal it in a plastic bag and put it in your household rubbish bin. Don't let it get into waterways, because it's toxic to aquatic life.
